What We Missed -- Photography Festivals

While I was snowed under with my day job, a lot of things happened in Southern fine art photography.

Winners of this year's Review Prize at PhotoNoLa included Tampa-based photographer Debora Schwedhelm, for her portfolio From the Sea, which, they say, "traverses the watery realms where play intersects with mystery."

  
Also named a winner was Dallas-based photographer Brandon Thibodeaux,  for his portfolios When Morning Comes and Coon Hunting, which, they say, "explore the Southern mythos with an eloquent balance of the gritty and the sublime."

Sandi Haber Fifield was also named a winner, but she, as they say, is not from around here. 

There is a lot more catching up to do, but this is a start.
