Lori Vrba and Sally Mann -- American Photo Books of the Year
American Photo Magazine has released its list of the Best Photography Books of 2015.
Among this year's awardees are the moth wing diaries, by Chapel Hill-based photographer Lori Vrba, available here from Hillsborough, NC's Daylight Books.
This award is truly the icing on the cake for Vrba, who is having for herself an amazing, incredible break-out year for her photography.
Also on American Photo's list is Hold Still: A Memoir with Photographs, from Lexington, VA-based Southern Master Photographer Sally Mann.
Mann's book also made the list of London's Times Literary Supplement's notable books of 2015.
Congratulations to Vrba, and to Mann, for earning this distinguished recognition for their work!
I'm printing this out and keeping it forever. Thank you John Wall
